UPDATE - Robbery Bolton-Le-Sands 17/09/2026

Dear residents,

You might have already seen the update via our Police Facebook page about the two arrests for the B-L-S robbery which happened on 17/09/2026. Following a burglary which occurred on the evening of Monday 21st September by the same males in Lancaster City, police responded and through enquiries quickly located the males hiding out in an address in the city. Both were arrested and charged with a number of offences;

Thomas McMahon, 55, of Baycliffe Crescent, Morecambe, and Harry Ralphs, 35, of no fixed address, were both charged with three offences of robbery at The Range, Morecambe, DRI’s shop, Owen Road, Lancaster, and the Co-Op, Bye Pass Road, Bolton-le-Sands.

Both were remanded to court the following day whereby the magistrates saw fit to remand them into prison until their next court hearing on the 21st October 2026.
