Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents. After receiving several complaints of aggressive beggars approaching individuals in Hayes Town, we patrolled the location and identified two individuals who have both been issued paperwork banning them from the area. Please don't give to beggars as this encourages the behaviour to continue. There are various charities and faith groups in Hayes that support and help those in genuine need. If you are approached by a beggar please make a note of the time, location and a description of the individual and we will try to identify and speak to them. Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.
