Hope you are all well and having a good week. 

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the last couple of weeks in the Blakenall, Leamore, Birchills and Beechdale area’s

The team have been conducting targeted patrols in the locations of Hadley Way, Beechdale, Green St, Birchills and Whitehouse Street Birchills, due to concerns relating to drug dealing & cannabis related ASB. 

A letter drop was also conducted on Hadley Way.

Arrests have been made by the teams’ officers- a female wanted for shop lifting offences and out of force area offences in the Oakwood Road area of Walsall and a male arrested for minor road traffic offences in the Pargeter St area of Old Birchills. (13/09/26)

A male arrested for possession of a bladed article and failure to appear in court in the Bloxwich Road area (25/09/26)

A stolen vehicle was located and seized by the team following a report from an eagle-eyed member of the community in the Lister Road/Stephenson Ave area of Beechdale. The car had been taken from the West Mercia area in a car key burglary. (15/09/26)

Letter drop conducted in Essex St, Walsall due to reports of a male riding a motorbike at speed and without due care and causing a noise nuisance. Should any person/s have any information regarding this please contact us quoting 20/401548/26.

PCSO Marica has attended St Patrick’s Catholic Primary school Walsall – for working in the community engagement along with PC LAM from our local CID department. 

A big thank you to all who attended our latest PACT meeting at St Chads, Edison Rd, Beechdale! PACT meetings are a great way of discussing the issues that matter to you! (25/09/26)
