Mountsorrel Beat Team Weekly Update

This week, your Mountsorrel Beat Team has been supporting residents, safeguarding vulnerable people, and continuing to provide a visible presence in the community.

We have been working to resolve a number of ongoing neighbour disputes, engaging with those involved and helping to bring matters to a satisfactory conclusion.

On Saturday, the Beat Officer assisted response colleagues after an elderly gentleman was found confused in the street. Following enquiries, officers were able to establish his identity and ensure he was returned home safely.

Later that day, the Beat Officer also assisted a PCSO with a vulnerable and confused elderly lady just outside Loughborough. She was safely taken home, and the appropriate safeguarding paperwork was completed.

On Tuesday evening, the Beat Officer supported colleagues policing the car cruise activity across the Charnwood area, helping to ensure the event was managed safely and with minimal disruption to local communities.

Throughout the week, the team has continued carrying out high-visibility patrols across Mountsorrel, providing reassurance to residents and addressing local concerns.
