Suspicious males attending farmland - Pentyrch

Good afternoon,

We are asking residents, particularly farmers and landowners, with vehicles/equipment on site to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to 101 or 999 in an emergency.

This follows a report today of three males in a silver Ford Transit van entering a farm in Pentyrch who appeared to be checking out vehicles and livestock. When challenged by a neighbouring farmer they were unable to provide a reasonable excuse and have left the area.

Rural locations such as these can be vulnerable to criminality, such as tool/equipment thefts, fuel or scrap metal thefts, poaching and other rural crime activities. Please ensure any suspicious activity is reported.
