The ward has experienced some thefts from motor vehicles over the past few weeks. Please be mindful not to leave anything on display in your vehicle… Lock it don't Lose it! Never leave your vehicle unattended with keys in ignition or ignition runningDo not leave your badge on display if it is not required to be seen The most common method of vehicle entry is to smash either side front windows Most offences are being committed overnight, if possible make sure your vehicle is left in a well lit area Consider buying & using a lockable display device Parking • If you have a garage at home, use it. If you don’t, try to park in a well-lit open place. If you have a drive at your home please use it rather than opt for street parking When leaving your vehicle take all valuables with you do not leave anything in the vehicle Always remember to secure/lock your vehicle
