Community Engagement Event at Darul Ummah Mosque

Today, Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team was pleased to attend a community engagement event at Darul Ummah Mosque.

We would like to thank Imam Abidul Hoque Ibrahim, the mosque leadership, volunteers and all those who attended for their warm welcome and hospitality. The event provided a valuable opportunity to engage with local residents, discuss local issues, strengthen community partnerships, and gain a greater understanding of Islam, its values, and the important role the Mosque plays within our community.

We were also pleased to be joined by our Ward Chair, whose attendance highlighted the importance of partnership working in supporting and strengthening community cohesion across Barkingside.

Barkingside SNT remains committed to engaging with residents and local organisations, and we look forward to working closely with Darul Ummah Mosque on future community initiatives.
