Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath
2 X Section 46 warrants were executed at 2 addresses, cannabis was seized from one of the properties.
We attended a report of a drunken male in a vehicle, thank you to the member of public who called us. Male was arrested for being drunk in charge of a vehicle whilst intoxicated.
ASB PATROLS
We have been patrolling Willenhall Town Centre as often as we can, we have noticed that the drinkers are not congregating and sitting on the benches, this is due to Walsall Council who have removed the benches to make way for the new permanent market stalls.
We are patrolling Willenhall Memorial Park and will continue to patrol the area.
We have been patrolling in Gough Street due to the asb issues including youths playing football, sitting in the middle of the road obstructing traffic and general noise. We are working with WHG to tackle these issues. If you are experiencing any issues, please report them straightaway to Police and WHG.
Officers have identified 4 youths who were banging on a door and running off causing the resident’s significant distress. All youths have been suitably advised about their behaviour.
SCHOOLS AND SURGERIES
Attended St Giles Church for warm space and coffee morning We attended Pool Hayes Academy to meet the new year 7 pupils, this was followed by a Police Surgery. Police Surgery was also conducted at Queens Lea Community Centre. Junior Pcso lesson 2 conducted for year 5 pupils who have volunteered to help combat the parking issues outside their school at Woodlands Academy School.

02/10/26 – St Marys Church, Leveson Street 10.30 to 11.30 – Coffee & cake morning all funds raised for the Willenhall food bank. 03/10/26 – Police surgery at Willenhall library between 10.00 and 11.00
