Mini Police Update

As we are entering our 4th year of our popular award winning MINI POLICE PROGRAM, we are pleased to announce that the program will continue in the following schools , with PCSO ROBERTSON : 
- KINGSMEAD PRIMARY , who will be into their 4th year 
- DAVENHAM CofE PRIMARY , who will be into their 3rd year 
- HARTFORD PRIMARY , who will be into their 3rd year 
- LEFTWICH COMMUNITY PRIMARY - who will be into the 2nd year.

At the present moment in time, all of the schools are into the recruitment stage : 
- Presentation to YEAR 5 children that explains about the MINI POLICE (which nearly all children know what the MINI POLICE are) and what they will be doing through out the year.
- Applications handed out to anyone who is interested in joining to become a MINI POLICE OFFICER.
- 3 to 1 INTERVIEWS (how many 9 and 10 year olds do you know, who are attending an interview)

And brand new this year , as the program is becoming more popular , before the Interviews take place, there is the TEAM BUILDING EXCERISE.

This year we have had a record number of applicates applying for a limited amount of spaces, which is the reason why there is a new Team Building exercise.

We would like to accept everyone who has applied , but unfortunately that cant the case. This is the reason why throughout the whole process , everyone who has applying has been advised that they should be proud to get to the Interview stage , and that this will give them life skills for the future.
