Information appeal: Murder investigation in Hogsthorpe

We are appealing for witnesses and information after the discovery of a woman's body in Hogsthorpe today. 
We were called to the address on Thames Street just after 9am today (29 September) following a report that a woman in her 30s had died.

Her family have been made aware, and will be supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

Two men in their 50s and 60s were arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody at this time. A scene guard will remain in place, so residents in the local area may see a heightened police presence while inquiries are ongoing.

Thames Street and Langham Road were closed during the incident. We do not believe there is any wider risk to the public.
