Halloween Community Safety Message : Mon 19 Oct 18:00

Dear Resident

Halloween Community Safety Message

Over the next few days, you may notice additional signage appearing on lamp posts in certain areas. This is in response to an increase in anti-social behaviour that has previously occurred around the Halloween period.

Please take the opportunity to discuss with young people the difference between harmless Halloween "treats" and behaviour that could be considered dangerous, anti-social, or criminal. Activities that put themselves or others at risk, cause damage, create fear, or negatively impact the community are not acceptable and may result in police action.

There will be additional high-visibility police patrols throughout the Halloween period to help prevent anti-social behaviour, provide reassurance to residents, and ensure everyone can enjoy the festivities safely.

Thank you for your support in helping to keep our communities safe.

Signage and Hi Viz patrols in the Broxbourne/Hoddy area
Signs are to go up on lamp posts in the high ASB areas to warn people that there is a zero tolerance policy in that area on the 31st October. Hi Viz patrols will also take place in case anyone has any questions. The locations will be in and around the Broxbourne - Hoddesdon area. Starting with Mill lane/Broxbourne Rec ground.
