I wore many hats as a generic PCSO such as, Warwickshire Horse Watch Ambassador, Road Safety Educator for young drivers aged 17-25, Wildlife Crime Officer, Heritage Crime Officer, Educator for PREVENT, Early Intervention Network Support, Restorative Justice Officer, Peer Supporter and Emergency Services Trauma Intervention Support. My current role is the Anti-Social Behaviour Co-ordinator for Warwickshire Police that is responsible for Warwick District. The role focuses on managing, preventing, and responding to incidents of anti-social behaviour (ASB) within a community. Typical responsibilities include: In a policing context, an ASB Co-ordinator often acts as the link between neighbourhood policing teams, local councils, and partner agencies to ensure a joined-up approach to tackling issues such as: An ASB Co-ordinator would typically oversee or support the administration, case management, partnership working, and strategic planning aspects of anti-social behaviour operations, while PCSOs and neighbourhood officers may be more involved in frontline engagement, evidence gathering, reassurance patrols, and enforcement activity. In short, an ASB Co-ordinator is the person responsible for coordinating the multi-agency response to anti-social behaviour cases and ensuring victims receive an effective service.
If you have any issues with ASB in your area, please report on 101 or online via the link below. | ||
