Hi everyone, Hope you all are keeping safe and well. Please read the following message, which mainly applies to residents living around Dracan Village. Funding CSW will not be a problem however we are looking for a responsible co-ordinator plus volunteers to help :-
We are from Derbyshire Police’s Community Speedwatch, a scheme that enables groups of trained community volunteers to directly contribute to reducing the problem of speeding vehicles on local roads. Your community has an active scheme working in your area but are now looking to attract more volunteers. Can you help?
How does it work? The registered owner is then sent an advisory/warning letter notifying them that they have been recorded speeding and that their details will be held pending any further incidents of them exceeding the speed limit Benefits Directly contributes towards speeding becoming socially unacceptable

I have been out this morning with the Coton-in-the-Elms CSW, supporting residents request of slowing traffic. Between 8.30 - 9.30am , there was 126 recorded cars travelling through Church Street and of those drivers, six will be receiving advisory letters. Thank you again for your attention and please send an email to the above if you are interested. THIS ISNT ABOUT CATCHING DRIVERS OUT, ITS ABOUT PROTECTING OUR NEIGHBOURS AND SLOWING TRAFFIC BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT. | ||
