🤝 Eastcote Community Alert: Your CCTV Could Help

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

Nobody wants an uninvited guest turning up at their home, especially one who helps themselves to your belongings and doesn't even offer to do the washing up afterwards!

As we head into the darker evenings, please take a few moments to help protect your home:

🔒 Lock all doors and windows, even if you're only popping out for a short while.

💡 Leave lights on timers when you're out to make your home look occupied.

📦 Avoid leaving valuable items, keys, or packages visible from windows.

📹 Check that your CCTV, video doorbells, and security lighting are working properly.

🤝 Keep an eye out for neighbours and report any suspicious activity. A vigilant community is one of the best crime prevention tools we have.

Unfortunately, a burglary occurred on Woodlands Avenue on 29/09/2026 between 10pm and 11pm.

We are appealing for any information from residents who may have:

- Seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
- Noticed any suspicious vehicles.
- Captured footage on CCTV, Ring doorbells, dashcams, or other security devices.

Even if something seemed insignificant at the time, it could be exactly what investigators need.

📞 Please report any information via 101, quoting CAD 8200/29SEP2026 , or send information directly to your local Eastcote officers via MetEngage.

Let's work together to make Eastcote a place where burglars feel about as welcome as a wasp at a picnic.

Thank you for your support and vigilance.
