Burglary in your area |
||
|
Good evening Whilst enquiries are still ongoing I believe these are isolated incidents. However, I am reminding everyone to continue to be vigilant, take steps to secure your home and property. Make sure your windows and doors are locked when you leave. Please also remember to lock your external doors when you are inside your home to avoid anyone being able to walk into your property. If anyone would like any advice on security measures, please email me on annabel.allinson@cleveland.police.uk I will be happy to assist you or direct you to our Crime Prevention Team.
Please may I also ask that you look out for your neighbours, especially if they are elderly, immobile, disabled or vulnerable. If you see anyone acting suspiciously, or have any information or CCTV/video footage that may assist police enquiries, please report it via 101 or through the police website or on the COPA app. As always, if you see a crime in action or someone in immediate danger, please call 999 immediately. If you have any CCTV, ring doorbell, dashcam or other video security please can you review to check if there is any suspicious activity that could be new information to assist in investigating these recent crimes.
I understand that these incidents can cause alarm within the community, however, please let me reassure you that your local Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to patrol in your area and work with residents to help keep your community safe.
Please see below ways to further secure your home and property: As always, thank you for your continued support and when you see me patrolling - call me over for a chat!
Kind regards
PCSO Annabel Allinson Neighbourhood Policing Team annabel.allinson@cleveland.police.uk
