👮 Policing in the heart of your neighbourhood 🚓 Manor House Ward – Off-Road Bike Seized On Thursday 1 October 2026, officers from the Hartlepool Neighbourhood Policing Team responded to reports of an off-road bike being ridden dangerously on footpaths in the Manor House area. Officers conducted an area search and were in the right place at the right time when they spotted the rider pushing the bike into a property. Following enquiries, the bike was seized and the 41-year-old rider has been reported for summons for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. Off-road bikes being ridden illegally can pose a significant danger to pedestrians and other road users, and we will continue to target those who use them unlawfully.
