Anti Social Behaviour Concern around ducks at Duck Pond Farm

Anti Social Behaviour Concern around ducks at Duck Pond Farm

Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.

Dear Residents,

We understand the concern and upset caused by the recent incident involving ducks at Ducks Pond Farm, particularly for those who care for them and took the time to report their concerns.

Officers have now completed a review of the available evidence. Unfortunately, there is insufficient evidence to identify anyone responsible or support further police action. As there are no further proportionate lines of enquiry available, the investigation has now been closed.

We appreciate that this may be a disappointing outcome. However, this decision is based on the evidence available at this time and does not diminish the seriousness of the concerns raised by the community.

Thank you to everyone who assisted with enquiries and supported the investigation. Animal welfare and community safety remain important to us, and any new information reported to police will be reviewed accordingly.

Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.
