Vehicle Theft

Vehicle and Number Plate Thefts

Most people may have heard there have been a number of Nissan Jukes stolen in the past feew weeks from the Caerphilly Borough Area. All vehicles have now been found.

We have also had a number of Number Plates stolen.

Today PCSO Lisa was at Asda Caerrphilly handing out free Faraday bags and anti theft Number plate screws. These will hopefully deter and prevent further thefts in the area.

If you have a keyless car we urge you to buy a Faraday box/bag to keep your carkeys in when you are not using your vehicle. This will prevent theives the ability to transmit the signal from your keys in the home to the car.

If you would like to further prevent theft of your vehicle you can also buy CCTV to cover your vehicle and also steering wheel locks are also a great tool to deter and prevent them being taken.

If you would like further information please contact your local Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Kind Regards
