This week, PC Latter and PC Cartwright have continued to respond to concerns raised by residents across Rural Tunbridge Wells.
Following reports from the community, we have been making enquiries regarding suspicious vehicles which have been seen lingering near parked vehicles in Goudhurst. Information received from residents has helped officers build a clearer picture of recent activity, with proactive patrols and checks being carried out.
We have also received reports of vehicles suspected to be linked to poaching activity and the possession or use of catapults. These reports are being investigated, and officers will continue to conduct targeted patrols in affected locations.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to report concerns. Community intelligence remains vital in helping us identify issues and take positive action.
Lauren and Kady were also pleased to attend the Horsmonden Social Club Over 60s event, providing crime prevention advice, discussing local concerns, and engaging with members of the community. These events are a great opportunity to speak directly with residents and strengthen relationships within our villages.
In addition, speed enforcement checks have been conducted in both Horsmonden and Goudhurst following concerns about vehicle speeds. We will continue to monitor identified hotspots and take action where necessary to help improve road safety.
We would encourage residents to continue reporting suspicious activity, particularly in relation to rural crime, antisocial behaviour, and speeding concerns. Your information helps us keep our communities safe.
Please do contact us with any issues you want us to be aware of or any events you would like us to attend.
