Wanted Males £10,000 reward

Hello All

Please see the following Metropolitan Police appeal. Detectives are tracing two men wanted in connection with the rape of a teenage girl. These individuals may be living or traveling within our local area.

(CCTV footage of the suspects can be found at the bottom of the appeal page)

Call 999 if you believe you see them. The operator will require:

Your location

Description of person/s including clothing

Any vehicles involved

And direction of travel.

I strongly advise against attempting to physically detain them yourselves. Officers will be on the scene within minutes, and the suspects are likely to be violent and resist.

But just in case and for reference, Section 3 of the Criminal Law Act 1967 states: "A person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders or of persons unlawfully at large."

I stress the word Reasonable in the above definition.

Keep your eyes peeled.
