|
Dear Residents, I am pleased to share details of a successful Women's Personal Safety Awareness Workshop recently held in our ward at Northwood Hills Masjid & Community Centre (NHMCC). The event brought together women and young girls from across the community for an informative and empowering evening focused on personal safety, crime prevention, and confidence-building. Participants received: The workshop provided a welcoming environment for women and girls of different ages to learn valuable skills, share experiences, and build confidence. The practical elements of the session were particularly well received, with attendees actively participating throughout the evening. Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of bringing communities together to improve safety awareness and strengthen local resilience. I would like to extend my thanks to Northwood Hills Masjid & Community Centre, the organisers, volunteers, local police representatives, and everyone who contributed to making the event such a success. Initiatives like this play an important role in helping residents feel safer, more informed, and better connected to local support services. Working together with our community partners, we remain committed to promoting safety, awareness, and wellbeing across our neighbourhoods. Be Aware. Be Confident. Be Safer Together. Kind regards, Toufeeq
