🚓💙 Braunstone & Rowley Fields Update 💙🚓
PCSOs Julie and Beth have been keeping an eye on the beat today and it's certainly been one of those days! 😅
🏠 Firstly, we attended an address on Sweetbriar Road following reports of squatters. Fortunately, no one was found inside the property. Arrangements were made for the owners to attend and secure the address. ✅🔒
🚐 We also attended a road traffic collision on Gallards Hill, where a van had an unfortunate encounter with a bridge. Let's just say... "You can't park there, mate!" 🤦♂️😂🌉
👏 A special shout-out to two local teenagers who did their good deed for the day after spotting a male suffering a seizure in the street. They quickly called for an ambulance and flagged us down. We were able to provide first aid while waiting for paramedics to arrive. Well done to both of them for acting so responsibly and helping someone in need. ❤️🚑
🚗 We also recovered a vehicle under DVLA powers after it was found to have no valid vehicle tax. A reminder to all motorists to make sure their vehicle is taxed, insured and road legal before driving. ✅
🚔 This evening, we have also been covering the West Area ASB Car, helping tackle anti-social behaviour and keeping our communities safe.
All in all, a busy day! Thankfully no squatters were found, a property was secured, a vehicle was recovered, some excellent community spirit was on display, and we've learned that bridges remain undefeated against vans. 😄
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, stay safe, and remember... if you're planning a route, it's always worth checking your vehicle height before taking on a bridge! 🌉😂
