📍 Harrow Road, Wembley – Two ASB Warning Notices Issued Whilst conducting routine patrols, PCSO Baker and PCSO Alem observed two males urinating in public, consuming alcohol within a public place and littering. Both individuals were acting in a rowdy and inconsiderate manner, causing nuisance and annoyance to residents and people passing through the area. Officers stopped and engaged with both males, carried out the necessary checks and dealt with the matter robustly. Both individuals were issued with Anti-Social Behaviour Warning Notices and were provided with words of advice regarding their conduct and the impact their behaviour was having on the local community. The males were instructed to dispose of their litter in a nearby public bin and were directed to leave the area to prevent any further anti-social behaviour. Both complied with officers' instructions and left the location without further incident.
📍 Crown Walk, Wembley – Community Resolution for Drug Possession Whilst on patrol in Crown Walk, PCSO Baker and PCSO Alem noticed a male acting suspiciously and subsequently identified that he was smoking cannabis in a public place. Further enquiries were carried out and a colleague attended to assist. The male was searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act, resulting in a quantity of cannabis being found in his possession. The male admitted possession of the drug and was dealt with by way of a Community Resolution. The cannabis was seized and disposed of in accordance with policy. Officers also provided words of advice regarding drug misuse and warned the individual of the consequences of continued offending.
📍 High Road, Wembley – Community Protection Warning Issued PCSO Baker has continued to tackle persistent anti-social behaviour that has been negatively impacting residents living within the area. A Community Protection Warning (CPW) was issued to a male who has repeatedly been associated with anti-social behaviour, including loitering with known Class A drug users, using controlled drugs in public spaces, displaying drug paraphernalia and trespassing within residents' private gardens. The behaviour has been causing ongoing harassment, alarm and distress to residents and has had a detrimental effect on the community. The Community Protection Warning remains valid for six months and clearly outlines the expected standards of behaviour. The individual has been advised that should the conduct continue, further enforcement action may be taken by way of a Community Protection Notice. | ||
