Partnership Working with Riverside Housing

Hello Resident,

We hope you are having a lovely weekend,

Officers from Mile End Safer Neighbourhood Team  have collaboratively worked with Riverside Housing to secure a property following concerns of unlawful occupation.

With the support of housing, officers successfully managed to remove the individuals from the property, secure the premise and carry out a welfare check to identify any signs of vulnerability to reduce the risk of cuckooing.

If you would like to learn more about the signs and risks associated with cuckooing, feel free to read below:

Cuckooing | Metropolitan Police

We encourage residents to report any concerns or signs of cuckooing within their local neighbourhood.

Early intervention can make a significant difference.
