Proactive Policing Operation on Dick Lane Corridor

Proactive Policing Operation on Dick Lane Corridor

Dear Resident,

Officers from Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a proactive operation over the weekend along the Dick Lane corridor following concerns raised by local residents regarding antisocial vehicle use, dangerous driving, and the misuse of fireworks in the area.

The operation resulted in:

6 speeding tickets issued

4 speeding offences reported by way of summons

2 vehicles seized for having no insurance

1 dangerous driving investigation resulting in a crime report and CPS file submission

2 incidents involving vehicles failing to stop for police, with one leading to further offences being identified, including dangerous driving and driving without insurance

1 stop search conducted as part of enforcement activity

These results highlight our continued commitment to addressing issues that matter most to our communities and taking positive action against those who place others at risk through irresponsible behaviour.

We would like to thank residents for their continued support and for reporting concerns. Information provided by the public remains invaluable in helping us identify emerging issues and target our resources effectively.

Please continue to report concerns via 101, online, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.

Kind regards,
