Last Friday (2nd October), Lee issued a community resolution (formal warning) after a college student was found with the Class B drug in Rush Green.

The search took place at the bus stop opposite the college on Dagenham Road at 12.30pm, with a cannabis joint recovered. Due to the person being under 18, a community resolution was issued in the presence of an appropriate adult for the first time offence.

Repeat offences for possessing cannabis can result in £90 Penalty Notice for Disorders (PNDs) or a potential visit to court for persistent offending.
