Could you help your local community as an on-call firefighter?

On-call firefighters are members of their local community who are ready to respond when an emergency happens.

The role can fit around your existing work and commitments, giving you the opportunity to do something different while helping people in your local area.

You don’t need previous firefighting experience – full training is provided.

As an on-call firefighter, you’ll receive a £4,255.36 yearly retainer, based on a fully competent firefighter providing 60 hours of cover per week, plus additional payments for attending incidents.

You’ll also join a team, develop new skills and have the opportunity to make a real difference in your community.
