Nasima, Further to our visit this morning, Matt and I spoke with your neighbour’s daughter regarding the ongoing issues. Going forward, she has requested that there is no direct contact between yourself and her family. We have provided the same advice to all parties and would ask that you refrain from approaching or communicating with them directly. This is intended to prevent any further disputes and allow any concerns to be addressed through the appropriate channels. In relation to the building works, boundary concerns, or any alleged encroachment, these are civil matters and do not fall within the remit of a police investigation. Should you wish to pursue these issues, you should contact the relevant department within the local council and/or seek independent legal advice from a solicitor, who can advise on the most appropriate course of action. If, however, you believe that a criminal offence has been committed, or if a criminal incident occurs in the future, you should report this to the police at the time so that the circumstances can be assessed appropriately. Unfortunately, despite our enquiries, we were unable to speak with any other members of the family during our visit, which was not unexpected. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
