Dear Resident Here is an update regarding Acquisitive Crime which occurred in the Forest Recreation Ground & Arboretum Police beat area during the month of September.
Burglaries residential = 1 09/09 Annesley Grove – 4x unknown suspects have attempted to break into the communal door of a set of flats. No damage and entry not gained.
Robbery = 2 25/09 Addison Street – approached by 2x males and threatened with violence, money taken from victim 27/09 The Forest Recreation Ground – At approximately 9pm, knife point robbery near the Goose Fair.
Criminal damage = 6 06/09 Leslie Road – Windows to a motor vehicle have been smashed. 16/09 Collison Street – Dispute between 2 people resulting in male getting angry and damaging vehicle. 23/09 Radford Road – Passenger window of vehicle has been smashed. 25/09 North Sherwood Street – Bin has been set on fire leaving a hole in it. 26/09 Collison Street – Between 8:30pm and 10:50pm, vehicle windows have been smashed. 29/09 Burford Road – Unknown offender has caused 2x deep scratches to vehicle whilst parked on the roadside.
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 7 Between 02/09 and 23/09 Burford Road – Foreign rear vehicle registration number plate stolen, attempt made to steal front number plate. 03/09 Claypole Road – Vehicle broken into whilst parked locked and secure outside home address, money stolen from within. 07/09 Sophie Road – Vehicle broken into and snack, sunglasses and prescription glasses stolen from within. 08/09 Park & Ride Site, Forest Recreation Gound – Car keys and money stolen from within after vehicle was left unlocked with the keys left on the dashboard. 13/09 Thurman Street – Vehicle broken into overnight after vehicle was left unlocked. 16/09 Park & Ride Site, Forest Recreation Ground – Male seen on CCTV trying car doors and entering boot of a vehicle. 27/09 Sophie Road – Items stolen from within after vehicle was left unlocked.
Cycle Theft = 1 04/09 Gregory Boulevard – Theft of e-scooter, stolen from outside Mary Potter Centre where it was parked at bike racks, not chained but has immobiliser.
Shop Theft = 4 incidents of shoplifting reported.

With the community feedback received, I have now included Robbery, Cycle Theft and Shop Theft in the monthly crime reports.
