Could you help keep your local Brailsford Neighbourhood Watch going? |

Hello We’ve noticed that your local Neighbourhood Watch scheme covering your area Brailsford currently doesn’t have a Coordinator listed, and we’d really love to keep the scheme active in your community. Being a Coordinator doesn’t mean doing everything yourself. We’re here to support you with ideas, resources, materials and activities that can help bring neighbours together and make your area feel safer and more connected. We currently have a small pot of funding available to support local schemes, which can help towards things such as Neighbourhood Watch signs, posters, postcards and other resources to encourage more people in your area to get involved. There are also lots of ways a local Watch can become part of the wider community. Depending on what works for your area, we can help support activities such as: Our Darker Nights campaign is also launching shortly, with ready-to-use social media content, crime-prevention leaflets, children’s activities and other resources that Coordinators can use within their communities. You don’t need any previous experience, and you won’t be left to work things out on your own. We can offer plenty of guidance and support to help you get started. You can find out more about becoming a Coordinator on the Our Watch website, or simply email us and we can have a chat about what might work for your area. If we don’t hear from any members of the scheme within the next 14 days, unfortunately we will need to close the scheme. You will still remain a Neighbourhood Watch member, but your area will no longer be listed as an active Neighbourhood Watch scheme. We’d really like to avoid that and, more importantly, would love to help you build a Watch that works for your community. If you think you might be interested — even if you just want to find out a little more before deciding — please get in touch. Best wishes, Derbyshire Neighbourhood Watch | ||
