Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Resident

Here is a round-up of what has been happening in Willenhall South, New Invention, and Short Heath over the last week.

1 male arrested for burglary to business

We attended an incident regarding a missing 10 year old who was found quickly and safely.

Patrols have continued in ASB hotspots around Willenhall Town, Memorial Park, Gough Street, Greadier Street and Lichfield Road.

We were on patrol when a bus driver flagged us down to assist him with a male who had passed out on the bus seat, thank you to the Ambulance Service who arrived promptly and took over.

We have had 3 reports over the last couple of weeks regarding damage to buses, we are actively patrolling and using the bus service to provide reassurance to bus drivers and people of the community who use the bus.

1 x bike was seized for not having any insurance.

We attended St Mary’s Church in Leveson Street for a coffee morning to raise funds for Willenhall Foodbank. It was a very good turnout, food was donated and also 261 pounds were raised for this cause. Thank you to everyone who attended, to everyone who helped organise the event and to the pupils from St Thomas More School.

We attended Oakwood Lodge for Cuppa with a Coffee, it was lovely to meet the residents and have a chat.
