Officers continuing to investigate a theft and fraudulent use of a bank card are issuing images of two men they would like to identify.
At around 1.05pm on Wednesday 12 August 2026 a woman was using an ATM at Tower Park in Poole when a man approached her. By distracting the woman, the man was able to steal her card from the machine.
The woman left the ATM, thinking it had malfunctioned with her card still inside.
It was reported that the man then left in a Vauxhall car being driven by another man.
Withdrawals were later made at an ATM outside Barclays Bank on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth as well as from a machine from within the bank.
Police Community Support Investigator Craig Evans, of Bournemouth police, said: “Following enquiries into this matter, I am now in the position to issue images of two men we would like to identify as part of our investigation.
“I would urge anyone with information about the identities of the men pictured to get in touch.”
