Hello, Hartburn Resident,

Police attended an address in Hartburn yesterday after a door-to-door salesman claimed to be from a well-known company and attempted to sell windows.

Here are some tips to keep you safe.

✅ Always ask for ID
✅ Verify the company independently
✅ Never feel pressured into making a purchase
✅ Don't let unexpected callers into your home
✅ If in doubt, keep them out

If a caller makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, contact Police on 101 or in case of emergency ring 999. 

Remember: If you're not sure, don't open the door.
