Dear Resident
Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood team have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green retail areas deterring shoplifters, Hill Hook Nature Reserve and Badgers Bank Road after reports from residents of Anti-Social Behaviour.
Four Oaks Neighbourhood
Residential Burglary Four Oaks Common Road – On Thursday 1st October 2026 between 09.38hrs and 03.00hrs offenders have gained access to a property by lock snapping the rear door, stealing a handbag, phone and watch.
Crown Lane – On Saturday 3rd October 2026 at 00.00hrs offenders have gained entry to a property by smashing an upstairs window and searching the property, unknown if anything has been stolen.
Mere Green Road – On Tuesday 6th October 2026 offenders have gained entry to a property by snap locking a patio door, were an electric prototype vehicle was stolen.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
