👮‍♂️ Listening to Young Voices in Leigh

Officers recently attended the Family Hub in Leigh to meet with local young people, answer their questions about policing, and hear their views on how we can strengthen relationships between the police and young people in our communities.

During the session, we discussed six new recommendations for police forces relating to policing, children, and violence. Young people shared their thoughts on important topics including stop and search powers and the use of dispersal powers when anti-social behaviour is taking place.
