'UBER MAN’ Rated guilty with a 5 year CBO Daljit Singh came to police attention through the Aurora platform, where he was known by the nickname "Uber Man". for 54 seperate theft offences.
On 21 September 2026, the Ealing Neighbourhoods Tasking and Co-ordination Team contacted the CBO Team to request consideration of a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) following Daljit Singh's arrest by the Southall Neighbourhood Team for 54 theft offences, amounting to more than £2,300 in losses.
The team prepared a CBO application on 21 September 2026. The case was initially expected to proceed to court on 22 September; however, complications with the Connect system required resolution prior to charge. During this period, Singh also came to police attention for immigration-related offences. Following charge, the matter proceeded to Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on 23 September 2026.
The team attended court to support the application. Despite further technical issues preventing key documentation from uploading correctly, effective engagement with the defence and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) ensured the matter could proceed. The case also attracted media interest, with members of the press present in court throughout proceedings.
Following a successful hearing, a Criminal Behaviour Order was granted. This outcome demonstrated excellent partnership working between the Ealing, Southall Neighbourhood Teams and the CBO Team. Despite several challenges and barriers throughout the process, all parties worked collaboratively to secure a positive result.
The case links with IOM activity under Operation Zoridon, targeting associated offenders across West Area. The successful CBO provides valuable safeguards for local businesses, helping to prevent further repeat offending and reduce harm within the community.
On 23 September 2026, Uxbridge Magistrates' Court imposed a Criminal Behaviour Order on Daljit Singh for a period of five years with the following below prohibitions: Resulted in a guilty plea 16 weeks suspended sentence for 24 months and £250 compensation and 5 year CBO | ||
