Appeal for Information – Criminal Damage to Nursery Fence, Sherburn in Elmet |

|
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information following several reports of criminal damage to the fence line running between Garden Lane and New Lane, Sherburn in Elmet, which is owned by Time Out Nursery.
Over recent weeks, damage has been caused to sections of the fencing, resulting in both financial costs and significant inconvenience to the nursery. As a vital community asset providing childcare services to local families, incidents of this nature have a considerable impact not only on the physical security of the premises but also on the wellbeing of staff, children and parents who rely upon the facility.
We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area, seen damage being caused, or who may have their own mobile footage, doorbell footage or other information that could assist our enquiries.
We are also asking for the public's support by acting as the extra eyes and ears within the community. If you see anything suspicious or witness any further incidents occurring, please report the matter to the police at the earliest opportunity.
Neighbourhood Policing officers will be carrying out additional patrols in the area and will continue to work closely with local partners to address these incidents and prevent further damage from occurring.
Anyone with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police via 101 or through the North Yorkshire Police website. If a crime is in progress, always dial 999.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated. | ||
