Webinar raising awareness of "Com Groups" and Safeguarding children - for practitioners

Derbyshire Constabulary have scheduled webinars in October to raise awareness of Com groups, sometimes referred to as Com networks - online collectives of individuals who work together or compete on chat platforms to cause harm and commit crimes to make money, gain notoriety or to promote their ideologies.

Their victims tend to be under 18 and vulnerable. These webinars are for those who work with children.

Please DO NOT circulate this invitation – it is not for parents or the public to attend – this is for practitioners only. In due course, sessions will be scheduled for the public.

The webinar will run on MS Teams and we aim to take approximately 30 mins.
