Here’s an update on burglary locally. Dear Residents,
We would like to make you aware that there have been three burglaries reported on Kenton Road in a relatively short period of time, affecting two businesses and one residential property.
While these incidents are concerning, we want to reassure residents that local officers are aware and will continue to carry out patrols and preventative work in the area. We are sharing this information so that everyone can take a few simple steps to help protect their homes and businesses.
As the evenings are now getting darker earlier, offenders may seek to take advantage of reduced visibility. Residents living on busy roads and main streets are particularly encouraged to remain vigilant, as these locations can sometimes provide easier opportunities for offenders to blend into passing traffic and pedestrian activity.
Please consider:
Ensuring doors and windows are locked, even when you are at home. Using exterior lighting, timer switches, or motion-sensor lights where possible. Making sure valuable items are kept out of sight. Reporting any suspicious behaviour, people, or vehicles in the area.
Most importantly, please look out for one another. A watchful community is one of the most effective ways of preventing crime and keeping our neighbourhood safe.
If you see a crime taking place, call 999. For non-emergency concerns or to report suspicious activity, please contact police on 101 or via the Met Police website.
Thank you for your continued support.
