Drug dealer arrested

Officers recently attended an address within Woolwich Common after tracking a stolen bicycle using location technology. Following enquiries at the property, officers recovered suspected stolen property.

The address was already known to local officers through intelligence provided by members of the community, with longstanding concerns relating to drug use and drug dealing. During the police attendance, a resident was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply (PWITS) controlled drugs.

This outcome highlights the value of information provided by local residents and demonstrates our continued commitment to tackling drug-related crime and anti-social behaviour in the ward.
