Parking Issues - Ivor Playing Fields

This morning PCSO Saltmarsh and Colleagues have been patrolling Cowbridge Road, to monitor parking along the Ivor Playing Fields.

Multiple vehicles have been parked in a manner that is inconsiderate to pedestrians, and those with wheelchairs and prams.

5 vehicles have recieved warnings for obstructing the pavement.

Patrols will be regularly carried out throughout the day, and enforcement action will be taken on those parking inconsideratley.

Taff Neighbourhood Policing Team understand that parking in Pontyclun on match days is an issue.

Vehicles can park partially on the pavement, but they must park safely, and allow enough room for a wheelchair to pass through.
