Local Burglary Message

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

This morning, the ward team were made aware of a burglary on Grange Walk involving two suspects. Officers quickly carried out enquiries, using local knowledge and intelligence to identify the main offender. Within an hour of the offence coming to our attention, the suspect had been located and arrested.

Further enquiries, including a search of the offender’s address, led to the identification of the second suspect. Officers acted swiftly on this information and the second offender was also arrested shortly afterwards.

Due to the proactive efforts of the ward team, both suspects were brought into custody within hours of the offence being brought to our attention. This was a great example of effective teamwork, rapid investigation, and our commitment to tackling burglary and keeping our communities safe.

Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
