Hello Resident,

✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

A residents meeting was held at High View to discuss any concerns the residents may have within the area, PCSO's also attended a Tiny Tots event at the library. This gave us chance to talk to parents and children about our roles and encourage children to talk with us. Attending sessions like this helps build trust from an early age between children and police and helps encourage them to come to us if they ever needed help. 

Officers and PCSO's have been conducting targeted patrols in hotspot areas of Walsall and the town centre, offering a physical presence, and acting as a deterrent. Following off the back of these patrols the team has been able to submit intelligence which helps build a bigger picture of what is going on in the area and helps us target specific problem areas to pay attention to. 

While patrolling PCSO's have witnessed suspicious activity and informed officers on the team. Following this officers have conducted a stop search which has resulted in Class A drugs being seized.

Officers will continue patrolling, engaging with members of the community as well as making arrests and conducting stop searches to help keep the community safer.
