Good Afternoon Resident,

The safety of women and girls remains a priority for us, and your experiences can help shape how we make our communities safer.

👂 Your Voice Matters - Women and girls are often best placed to identify locations, behaviours and issues that make them feel unsafe. By listening to these experiences, we can better understand local concerns and focus our efforts where they are needed most.

📈 Building Trust and Confidence - We are encouraged to see continued engagement between women, girls and the police. Increased reporting and community feedback help us identify concerns, take action, and work towards preventing violence against women and girls.

📍 How Community Feedback Helps - Information shared by residents helps local officers to: 

▪️ Identify locations where people feel unsafe
▪️ Understand the times and days when concerns are most common
▪️ Recognise problematic behaviours affecting the community
▪️ Highlight environmental issues that may impact feelings of safety, such as poor lighting or secluded areas

🤝 Working Together -  Community conversations and feedback play an important role in helping officers develop targeted patrols, preventative measures and problem-solving initiatives. Every piece of information contributes to building a safer environment for everyone.
