Hi Resident
WALK, TALK & DO White Ribbon Community Safety Walk Working Together to End Violence Against Women and Girls 📅 Date: Friday, 6 November 2026 Join Us The White Ribbon Movement was established in 1991 to engage men in preventing violence against women and girls and to challenge harmful attitudes and behaviours that contribute to gender-based violence. As part of this commitment, we invite women aged 18 and over who live, work, or study in London to take part in a Walk, Talk & Do community safety event. This is an opportunity to walk with local police officers and partners through the local area, highlight locations where you may feel unsafe, and discuss concerns regarding women's safety. Why Attend? Together, we will: ✅ Listen to the experiences and concerns of women and girls. ✅ Identify locations where people feel unsafe. ✅ Inform targeted police patrols and crime prevention activity. ✅ Conduct environmental audits to identify opportunities to improve safety. ✅ Work with the Council and community partners to implement practical improvements. ✅ Support wider initiatives aimed at ending Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). Who Can Attend? Women aged 18+ who: Make Your Voice Heard Your experiences and insights can help shape local policing, improve community safety, and create safer public spaces for women and girls. Together, we can make a difference
