Hello

Hello

Dear Resident

I wanted to write to introduce myself as the Inspector for the Hall Green constituency, covering Hall Green, Moseley, Kings Heath, Sparkbrook, and Springfield.

I’ve spent over 20 years in policing, most recently as a response, serious and organised crime and neighbourhood Inspector across both Solihull and Birmingham and I’m bringing all that experience with me into this role.

I’m proud to be building on the strong foundations laid by my predecessor and working in partnership with residents, community leaders, and business owners remains key, as we work to make the area safer for everyone.

By listening to you, and acting on the intelligence you provide, we can achieve this goal.

I know that young people being involved in violence remains a concern and we are continuing to work with colleagues across the force, including our Guardian Taskforce and we will be taking strong enforcement action against anyone carrying a weapon or involved in violence.

We visit key areas to speak to young people directly, and work with partners to help steer them away from crime.

This approach also helps us in our working tackling anti-social behaviour and drug use – specifically the illegal use of nitrous oxide, which I understand also remains a concern for residents.

Again, we are grateful for any information and intelligence you can share with us around this issue.

I am keen to hear from as many residents as possible and our team of officers is ready to listen to you.

We will continue to provide regular updates, and I would urge you to check the local section of our website for updates and dates for our drop-in sections.

Thank you for your continued support,
