Four Wanted Suspects Arrested During Proactive Policing Operation at Angel |
||
|
Yesterday, your local neighbourhood officers supported a Live Facial Recognition operation at Angel Station as part of ongoing efforts to identify wanted offenders, protect vulnerable people and keep our communities safe.
The operation resulted in the arrest of four wanted individuals who were sought for a range of serious offences, including domestic abuse, threats to kill, assault, affray and offences against emergency workers. One arrested individual was also found to be in possession of Class B drugs.
Alongside these arrests, officers carried out a range of enforcement and safeguarding activities, helping to ensure that individuals subject to police monitoring and restrictions were complying with their legal obligations.
While much of policing takes place out of sight, operations such as this demonstrate how we are actively pursuing wanted offenders, protecting victims and making our neighbourhoods safer.
We know residents want to see those who commit crime held accountable. By supporting targeted operations such as these, we are helping to remove wanted offenders from our streets and provide reassurance to those who live, work and visit the area.
If you have any questions about Live Facial Recognition or would like further information about how it operates and the safeguards in place, more information can be found here.
The Laycock Safer Neighbourhood Team remains committed to tackling crime, safeguarding vulnerable people and keeping our neighbourhood a safe place for everyone.
