Another Closure Order

On Friday 9th October, our team headed off to Wycombe Magistrates’ Court.
Before anyone asks... no, we weren't there for anything we'd done wrong. Despite the occasional vehicle mishap, we're reliably informed those aren't technically our fault! 🚔😅

We were there to secure another Closure Order on a property that had effectively been taken over by individuals involved in anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity. 
This behaviour had turned life into a living nightmare for local residents and was leaving the occupant feeling intimidated and fearful.

The Closure Order now prevents anyone, apart from a small number of approved individuals, from entering the property. 
This gives the resident the chance to get back on their feet in peace while we continue to target those responsible for causing the problems.
For anyone thinking of ignoring the order and popping in anyway, it's worth noting that anyone found inside without authorisation is liable to be arrested.

Whilst we know some of you would love one, Closure Orders unfortunately cannot be used to stop your in-laws visiting, prevent that one neighbour who always wants a chat, or keep unexpected guests away at Christmas. 😆

They are, however, a fantastic tool that enables us to protect vulnerable residents and improve the quality of life for those living nearby.

A great result for the community and another example of partnership working helping to make our neighbourhoods safer. 👏🏡🚔
