Standards of Driving......Police Action - Great Horton Road

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

I know that road safety and driving standards across Bradford are important concerns for many residents. In recent weeks, following concerns raised by the community, we have been carrying out targeted enforcement activity on Great Horton Road, with further operations planned in other areas.

As a result of this work, we have:

• Issued 29 Traffic Offence Reports
• Submitted 1 report to the DVLA for a vehicle with no tax
• Reported 2 drivers to court
• Seized 4 vehicles
• Made 1 arrest following a pursuit for dangerous driving

**This is a small sample size of the work we do, much more is to be done so please keep reporting the issues to us.**

Please be assured that we remain committed to tackling poor driving standards, anti-social driving, and any criminality linked to the use of vehicles on our roads. We will continue to listen to community concerns and take action where issues are identified.

Thank you for your continued support.
