Proactive Action Against Repeat Offenders |
||
|
Our local policing team continues to use a range of powers to tackle repeat offending and help keep our communities safe.
A recent example involved a prolific offender who was subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO), which included conditions designed to address ongoing criminal and anti-social behaviour. Following joint working and information sharing between local police and the British Transport Police, the individual was stopped at King's Cross Station and found to be in breach of their CBO conditions.
The offender was arrested, charged, and remanded to court, where they pleaded guilty and received a custodial sentence.
This outcome highlights how effective partnership working and the use of Criminal Behaviour Orders can be in disrupting persistent offenders, reducing anti-social behaviour, and improving safety for residents, businesses, and visitors across the area.
We remain committed to working with partner agencies to identify repeat offenders and take positive action where offences occur. | ||
